Birleşik Krallık’ta yayın yapan İngiltere’nin en büyük yayın organı BBC 36 ülkeden 177 sinema eleştirmenin katkısı ile 21. yüzyılın en iyi 100 filminin yer aldığı bir liste ile sinemaseverlerin karşısına çıktı.100. sırayı üç filmin paylaştığı listede toplam 103 sinema filmi bulunmaktadır. Türkiye den ise milli gururumuz Nuri Bilge Ceylan’ın 2011 yılında Cannes Film Festivali’nde ‘En İyi Yönetmen’ ve ‘Büyük Jüri Ödülü’ aldığı filmi ”Bir Zamanlar Anadolu’da” isimli sinema filmi de yer almıştır. Bilindiği üzere senaryosu ve yönetmenliği Nuri Bilge Ceylan’ın hazırladığı 2010 yapımı film birçok festivalden de ödül almıştır.
