Introduction
Fifteen years after Dante and Randal purchased the Quick Stop convenience store, their lives continue much as before. This includes rooftop hockey games and hanging out with Jay and Silent Bob, who have turned the old RST Video into a legal marijuana dispensary. Despite the passage of time, their routines remain unchanged.
Dante’s Grief
Dante is still grieving the loss of his fiancée, Becky, and their unborn daughter, Grace, who were tragically killed by a drunk driver years prior. This tragedy weighs heavily on Dante, and he finds it challenging to move on from the devastating loss. It becomes a central theme in his life, influencing his decisions and emotions.
Randal’s Health Crisis
The story takes a significant turn when Randal, while attempting to sell NFT kites featuring the Buddy Christ image with his friend Elias, suffers a severe heart attack. Elias, in response to this crisis, renounces his Christian faith and embraces Satanism, blaming his former beliefs for Randal’s health scare. This event not only shakes up their lives but also prompts Randal to reevaluate his life’s purpose and embark on a mission to create a film chronicling their experiences at the Quick Stop.
